Last Wednesday was Ling's last day of work. She was the other temp staff who sat next to me in the office. Thank God for her cause she really brought some life in my work there - chatted with me, laugh with me and we befriended each other. Though she wasn't that proficient in her English, coming from Myammar, she was still very friendly and didn't let language get in her way from learning new things and making friends with her supervisors at work.
A picture that we took in the office As it was her last day, she had a request to try out the famous Char Kway Teow at Ghim Moh Market. We granted her her request and went off for early lunch at 12pm with her Supervisor Bee Ai. But though we reach the market early, the market was already almost packed with people occupying the tables. And the queue for the Char Kway Teow was like a snake..

Guess the only thing that made it really special was that it wasn't very oily or sweet and the ingredients were all well mixed and cooked.
Ling's last day also collides with Fruits Day in my office. Everyone in the office was being offered an apple to eat...

Tomorrow will be another brand new day. Ling has been called back to work again as a temp staff back to the same company, same floor except different department, different seating place and boss. Haha! Will be looking forward to seeing her again. =)
P.S: Just lost my coupon to order my grad grad picture, paid $100 for IC replacement and I just lost my pouch with my house key and thumb drive inside. What's happening to me these days... Hoping for a miracle to happen that I'll be able to find back my pouch with my house key and thumb drive inside. Can't really remember when I last saw or used it.. But guess when you're not looking for it you'll find it. Like how I just found my Big face watch which I thought I misplaced it in year 3.. *Sigh* -Bad Day-Labels: it doesn't just rain but it pours... =(
